Synopsis


In a World… is a hilarious romantic comedy about a struggling vocal coach who strikes it big in the cutthroat world of movie-trailer voiceovers, only to find herself in direct competition with the industry’s reigning king—her father.

 


BIOGRAPHY


Triple threat LAKE BELL won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival for her feature debut, In a World…, in which she stars and also directed.   Bell wrote and directed Worst Enemy, a short film, which premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. Since then, Bell has directed several episodes of Adult Swim’s Emmy winning Childrens Hospital, in which she is a series regular. Bell’s acting credits include No Strings AttachedIt’s Complicated, What Happens in Vegas, and HBO’s How to Make It in America. Bell also co-stars in Black Rock, which premiered at Sundance in 2012.
