The 17th annual Producers Award, sponsored by Piaget, honors emerging producers who, despite highly limited resources, demonstrate the creativity, tenacity and vision required to produce quality independent films. The award includes a $25,000 unrestricted grant funded by Piaget.

FREDERICK THORNTON’s previous producing credits include: Littlerock, Sawdust City, The Murder of Hi Good, and Pearblossom Hwy. He is currently studying for his BA in Psychology from Brandman University. Thornton has worked in all aspects of filmmaking: producing, assistant directing, on-set production sound, etc. He was awarded Producer of the Year at College of the Canyons in 2009.
