Dia Sokol (Producer)

Dia Sokol has produced a number of independent films: Andrew Bujalski’s Beeswax, his previous film, Mutual Appreciation, Joe Swanberg’s Nights and Weekends, and Alex Karpovsky’s Woodpecker.  Sokol recently directed her own feature, Sorry, Thanks, starring Wiley Wiggins, for which she was awarded the Adrienne Shelly Director’s Award. She is also the co-Executive Producer of MTV’s hit series “16 & Pregnant.”
