Alex Ross Perry was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania in 1984. He graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2006. But really, he got his education working at the legendary video store Kim’s Video in Manhattan. His first feature film, Impolex, premiered at the CineVegas Film Festival in 2009, and played at nearly a dozen festivals worldwide, winning the award for Best Foreign Film and Best Foreign Actor at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival in Australia. The Color Wheel is his second feature film.
